Ali Siddiq began his career in 1997 after being released from prison; he started his career as a standup comedian at “Just Joking Comedy Café” in Houston and performed in local comedy clubs in Texas. He then gradually began to move towards success due to his comedic talent; he became famous because of his unique punch line style as a standup. Ali then appeared in the AXS TV program ‘Gotham Comedy Live’ in 2015, based on standup comedians’ live performances in New York City. Ali released his ‘First Half Hour’ show performance on the special occasion of Father’s Day. The program aired on Comedy Central.
After the hit success of First Half Hour, Comedy Central offered Ali ‘an hour special’, he immediately accepted the offer and began production for the show, and went back to that place from where his journey truly started.
